These grade level Assessment Sourcebooks, designed to complement and support the assessments in each Investigations curriculum unit (1998, 2004, and 2006 editions), provide teachers of grades 1-5 with a set of 4-6 end-of-unit tasks designed to assess the important mathematical ideas in each unit in the grade level sequence. These books also provide information for the teacher about the mathematical significance of the tasks; support for examining student work; and a checklist of mathematical skills covered in the unit. In addition there are reproducible Student Sheets in both English and Spanish. The mathematical checklists for each grade are available for download in English and Spanish on the Scott Foresman website.
Although there is no Assessment Sourcebook, mathematical checklists are available for the Kindergarten units.
