The Algebra Project, developed by Robert Moses is an interactive curriculum designed to provide "inner-city" and rural students with a better understanding of abstract matheamtical concepts. Developed by mathematician and civil rights leader, Bob Moses, The Algebra Project uses physical surroundings as tangible references for mathematical ideas.

The Efficacy Institute

The Efficacy Institute is a non-profit organization that provides seminars for educators in which they explore their beliefs about intellectual development and how this belief influences educational policies and practices. Other services include workshops for administrators, staff developers, parents, families and community organizations.

Equity in Mathematics Education Leadership Institute (EMELI)

EMELI workshops provide an environment in which educators reflect and discuss equity issues at both the personal and intellectual level. Participants look at how race, class, gender, and other forms of bias affect the teaching and learning of mathematics.
