Making Sense of Fractions

This 7-week asynchronous online workshop focuses on the teaching and learning of fractions in the Investigations curriculum. Through online interactive activities and discussions, participants learn how grade 2-5 students make sense of, compare, and compute with fractions using representations and reasoning. Participants will also consider how to best support students in their learning.

Tuition: $450 per participant until 5/8/25; $500 until 6/11/25; $550 until registration closes 6/17/25
Who Should Attend
People who want to learn more about the teaching and learning of fractions (Grades 2-5) in the Investigations curriculum.
Contact Hours
Participants receive a certificate for 40 contact hours or PDPs (MA only) upon completion of the workshop.
Graduate Credit
3 credits are available for an additional fee.
What’s Asynchronous? Specific work is expected each week; participants choose when to complete the work.
