Resources for Inv3 Educators
Watch this space for an evolving set of resources designed to support teachers and educators in teaching Investigations 3 during the 2020-2021 school year.
Priority Instructional Content
These documents were created for school systems following the Student Achievement Partners (SAP) recommendations for priority instructional content this year. They indicate content that SAP thinks should be emphasized, eliminated, combined, or reduced in time, and provide recommendations for integrating previous grade-level content. The Investigations 3 team recommends that educators use these correlations, in conjunction with our Planning for 2020-2021 documents (below), as well as knowledge of the curriculum and their particular context, in order to make decisions that best support student learning.

Planning for 2020-2021
Part of planning for the 2020-2021 school year entails thinking about content that may be impacted by the disruption in teaching and learning that occurred last spring. These documents – which suggest resources from the prior grade that can be used to support specific content in the current grade – are designed to help teachers and educators in such planning.

Manipulatives, Cards, & Other Materials
These documents compile information about the various manipulatives, cards, and other materials used in Investigations 3 at each grade, to support schools and districts as they make decisions about what materials students, teachers, and classrooms may need given the various configurations of in-school and at-home learning.
